I found a whole stack of paint colour tests in a freebie box outside my studio, naturally I took them, without a clue what I would do with them.
The leftover chalks I had bought for the St Mawes trip were still sitting unused on my desk and I wanted to use these, I like their playfulness, versatility and annoying-ness, how nothing is free from chalk powder, I managed to stain my jeans.
There are three short panels of flooring next to my desk. Two got chalked.
It is a playful piece of work that looks to utilise what little available space there is becoming in my studio, I edited the matching backgrounds in on my phone, it was influenced by the ad hoc nature of fluxus and the desire to just play and produce something new with materials that were to hand.
